Distillery Manager’s Choice – he’s got impeccable taste, teh good Mr. Ed Dodson… It’s a finish, by the way,  ”matured in oak casks and further mellowed in an ex-Oloroso sherry butt”.

Nose: Bucketloads of sherry, vanilla, spices, warm apple pie, spiced wood.

Palate: Blackcurrant, with spices and mint in the background. The sherry influence is there in the finish.

Score: 9 out of 10
