Nose: Cornish fudge, peat, butterscotch, burnt. With water there’s a distinct tinge of an open fire.
Palate: Ashes, tobacco (smoke), freezer, metallic, rock.
Comments: Very, very good for a Jura. Confirms my impression that young, peaty Jura’s are worth buying when you find them.
Score: 7 out of 10
