Nose: Fruit, dried peaches, liquorice, Christmassy spices.

Palate: Sherry, oak, burnt.

Comment: A little too much cask influence on the palate for my taste. I think I’d prefer a somewhat younger version.

Score: 6 out of 10

Nose: Fruit, sweet pears.

Palate: Malty toffees and coffee.

Score: 7 out of 10
